DevOps Specialist #1061594Job Description:
Employees in this job function are responsible for building, testing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools for software/ code development, deployment and release. They also help the organization speed up and automate aspects of the software lifecycle through a series of DevOps practices and processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Imbibe DevOps methodology and practices across the product lifecycle for various software components
- Accelerate software releases while ensuring security and mitigating the risk of failed/ recalled software releases
- Ensure increase in cycle speed between feedback from end-user to an updated software by leveraging continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous feedback
- Assess current systems and processes, and identify and implement ways to improve them
- Utilize platform and enterprise tools and infrastructure to facilitate DevOps methodology and approach
- Assist code/ software releases and deployments in various environments like production, testing, sandbox etc.
- Identify and spearhead creation of automation and innovation opportunities throughout the software product lifecycle
Ability to communicate and work with cross-functional teams and all levels of management , Full Stack Java Developer, Big Query,, GitHub, API, AI/ML, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Scripting

Experience Required:

- Exp: 5+ experience in relevant field
- AI & Developer Platforms: Experience with AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, and modern developer platforms, including cloud migrations and technology modernization initiatives.
- CI/CD & Automation: Strong expertise in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automating software delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions, scripting, and AI-enabled workflows.
- AI-Assisted Development: Leverages AI for code generation, code review, quality analysis, and developer productivity while ensuring secure and maintainable software.
- Software Engineering: Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and modern application development practices.
- Cloud & Platform Technologies: Experience with containers, Kubernetes/CaaS, PCF, Linux, WebSphere, and cloud-native platforms.
- Agile Delivery: Works effectively in Agile teams, contributing to planning, prioritization, and iterative delivery with a software craftsmanship mindset.
- Collaboration & Customer Focus: Partners with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive platform adoption.
- Governance & Continuous Improvement: Ensures compliance with security policies and service standards while continuously improving engineering processes through automation and AI.
