Duties:

• This position will perform site readiness reviews prior to construction: site accessible, to grade, both customer & public facilities located/staked, trench path available, forestry complete, obstructions in area, customer conduits installed & marked/pull strings, traffic control requirements, identify/verify primary/secondary voltages, identify special equip needs, switching order required, materials delivered, electric meter mounted in designed location/correct height & inspected, gas meter location marked, does an outage need to be coordinated along with other misc site observations.

 
Skills:

• Must have knowledge of Electric line construction methods/procedures, roadway protection requirements, Capabilities of tools and equipment, ability to read/understand blueprints used in line construction, and a keen sense of and ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards on the jobsite prior to the crew arriving to perform work.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and proficiency in uploading/downloading files from remote locations via wireless connectivity will also be required.
• The successful candidate must be dependable with good time management skills and ability to organize/prioritize workload to meet a schedule.
• They must also possess excellent communication skills and be a team player.

 
Education:

• High School Diploma
