WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- The Sr. IT Support Technician / Lead is a 100% on-site role responsible for providing advanced technical support and leadership within the IT support team.
- This position handles escalated technical issues, ensures service excellence through ticket management and compliance, and plays a key role in guiding junior technicians.
- The role also includes oversight of IT documentation, asset audits, and compliance activities, serving as the operational backbone of day-to-day support services.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Triage and resolve escalated technical issues across hardware, software, and network platforms
- Guide and mentor junior technicians, providing training and support for skill development
- Review service desk metrics and ensure alignment with and customer satisfaction goals
- Coordinate daily site coverage, assign support tasks, and ensure operational readiness
- Contribute to IT documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles
- Maintain and audit IT asset inventory, ensuring accuracy and accountability
- Support IT compliance initiatives and assist in internal and external audit activities
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals
- Experience leading or mentoring IT support staff in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with ITSM/ticketing platforms and understanding of company-driven operations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and inventory tracking
- Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality support
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead capacity
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent preferred
- Experience with inventory control systems, audit procedures, and documentation standards
